End of the season victory for LEBENSTRAUM in Pardubice!

Trakehner stallion LEBENSTRAUM wins the international 1* versatility competition with a record score of 21.52 in Pardubice, Czech Republic. Once again, a faultless start-finish victory for LEBENSTRAUM an his rider Lea Siegl. In summary the stallion was three times number 1 winner, tow times second and once third in 2019.

POLLUX by Perpignan Noir and FEINER TRAUM by Lebenstraum in the auction lot of Neumünster!

In the exquisite auction lot of this year’s foal auction at the stallion market in Neumünster are each a colt by PERPIGNAN NOIR and LEBENSTRAUM.
POLLUX by PERPIGNAN NOIR out of the Pr.St. Pandora X by Schwadroneur comes from the renowned breed of Wolfgang and Beate Heise in Seeon. FEINER TRAUM from LEBENSTRAUM and Farina by E.H. Sixtus was 2nd reserve champion of the championship of Schleswig Holstein/Hamburg and was honored with the signup “best spring descent”. The breeder ist Siegfried Lask from Borsten-Hohenraden. LEBENSTRAUM – best dressage and overall result at the Olachgut in Styria.

Last weekend in St. Georgen near Murau, the thoroughbred Trakehner stallion LEBENSTRAUM scored again a start-finish victory in the versatility class V105 / VL2 of the Alpe Adria Eventing Cup.
Shortly after the dressage competition, LEBENSTRAUM together with it’s rider Lea Siegl, faultlessly achieved 23/3 with a lead of 5 points. With a smooth and impecable performance in the field and jumping, the well-rehearsed dreamteam had the victory in their pocket.
This ist the best dressage AND overall result to date so far for LEBENSTRAUM and Lea Siegl. Chapeau and congratulations on this top performance!

PERPIGNAN NOIR Genetics – on the way to Neumünster!

The pre-selection an examination for the Trakehner Stallion Market 2019 has been completed and the first year of the Champion Stallion 2015 can draw a very positive conclusion: All four presented young stallions have been admitted to the licensing in Neumünster! Trakehner For Life congratulates al breeders, owners and instructors of the presented sons of PERPIGNAN NOIR to this success and wishes them al the best for the coming weeks – before they got to the stallion market to Neumünster!

LEBENSTRAUM – 3rd place at the CSN-C jumping tournament in Bad Zell, Upper Austria.

Trakehner stallion LEBENSTRAUM (Abendtanz x Heops) together with his rider Lea Siegl achieved tremendous success throughout this season. At the CSN-C jumping tournament on August 15th 2019 in Bad Zell / Upper Austria, the black lacquered stallion accomplished 3rd place.
2019 promises to be a year of tremendous success for LEBENSTRAUM – Congratulations!

AMALIA ARGENTINA – further TOP rankings!

Over the past few weeks, AMALIA ARGENTINA from HANCOCK has achieved further pleasing placements in eventing versatility. At the international event in Feldbach on the 1st of June she reached the 10th place in her first A competition V95. On 20th of June followed at the CCN tournament in St. Martin in the Mühlkreis / Upper Austria a suberane field horse style test Kl. 90 cm under Harald Siegl the place 5 (of 31 starters) with a rating of excellent 8.3 points! In the CCN-A eventing test V95 on the last weekend AMALIA ARGENTINA reached in the individual ranking, after a close heartbeat final for the victory with one unfortunate drop in the jumping as well the 5th place (of 38 starts). In the Upper Austrian State Championship of the Rider of the Allg. class of 28 starters, AMALIA ARGENTINA finally reached the 3rd place with Harald Siegl!

At his first international M – dressage, stallion LEBENSTRAUM achieved 2nd place out of 23 starters as part of the dressage contest on June 8th in Sankt Martin /Mühlkreis. The black beauty’s success series has just started and continues to be unstoppable under his rider Lea Siegl.

LEBENSTRAUM – currently in top form!

Trakehner – stallion “LEBENSTRAUM” (Abendtanz x Heops) is currently in top form. He impressed us with the 2nd top result in the eventing versatility from 31.05. till 02.06.2019 in Feldbach / Styria. Shortly after the dressage “LEBENSTRAUM” achieved 2nd place with zero terrain errors and zero jumping errors on the selective track. Nobody after could beat these outstanding results.

LEBENSTRAUM – achieved victory and got off to a dream start in Versatility Horse Division 2019!

At his first start in 2019 in the main competition (V105) of the Versatility Horse Division in Stadl-Paura; Austria from the 27th to the 28th of April, the jet-black stallion “LEBENSTRAUM” (Abendtanz x Heops) achieved victoy under his rider Lea Siegl. The two won with a sovereign 25,8 points dressage and a faultless terrain and jumping competition. We sincerely congratulate!

AMALIA ARGENTINA – first tournament start – 2nd place!

The five-year old Trakehner mare AMALIA ARGENTINA celebrated a successful debut at her first tournament start (CCN-A V90 in Stadl Paura/Austria) with an outstanding 2nd place finish. The daughter of the premium stallion Hancock presented herself extremely well and clearly showed her potential for eventing. AMALIA ARGENTINA is a three generation breeding result of the family Hartl and was best foal in breeding district Bavaria/Austria with 57,5 points at her registration. The blood-embossed mother ARLEEN is the only warmblood daughter of the legendary thoroughbred Arabian stallion ESSTEEM OX, who became first Triple Crown Champion (National, European and World Champion) ever in the history books of Arabian thoroughbred breeding. ARLEEN herself and especially her son AMALFI NERO already proved themselves successfully in national and international eventing under Olympic Rider Harald Siegl – and now AMALIA ARGENTINA is planned to follow this tradition.

WFFS: PERPIGNAN NOIR and LEBENSTRAUM tested and negativ!

The genetic defect Warmblood Fragile Foal Syndrome (WFFS) has unsettled many breeders for several months now. Understandably, the breeders and the Trakehner Verband demand transparency on this sensitive topic. Trakehner For Life has therefore initiated the test for both stallions and can now give the breeders with the negative findings the absolute certainty that neither PERPIGNAN NOIR nor LEBENSTRAUM carry the causative mutation for the WFFS in the LH1 gene. We will gladly send you a copy of the report on request.

Impressive comeback for LEBENSTRAUM at the gala evening at the 56th Trakehner Stallion Market.

The exceptional jumping stallion enjoyed a no-compromise return to competition after a one-year break due to injury. With his rider, 3-time Austrian State Champion (Juniors & Young Riders) Lea Siegl, the 7-year-old mastered the course with jumps up to 125 cm flawlessly and with routine. The trot extensions shown in between also impressed the spectators. We wish LEBENSTRAUM and Lea all the best for the 2019 tournament season!

SANTINO ARGENTINO receives the Premium in Allerheiligen/Austria!

The noble son of PERPIGNAN NOIR out of the high scored mare SAMARA from INSTER GRADITZ was awarded the premium on Sunday, July 1, 2018, during the occasion of the Fohlenbrenntermin on the stud of the Hartl family in Austria. The evaluation committee judged the colt in the type and physique with 8.5 points each. In the basic gaits he scored particularly in gallop and fascinated all attendees especially with his unique interior. Santino Argentino is now raised according to the recommendation as a stallion prospect. The entire Hartl family was pleased with the good grading and celebrated the success of breeding with “Kaiserwetter” together with the evaluation committee and all attending friends of the Trakehner horse with a traditional “Schnitzlessen”!

After a 3-month break due to injury, the exceptional jumping stallion LEBENSTRAUM is fit again and is being prepared for competition by Lea Siegl. Frozen and fresh semen will be available to the breeders from 26 March 2018 via the Bachl stallion stud farm.

PERPIGNAN NOIR – TOP breeding evaluation of the Trakehner Breeding Director

In the March issue of the magazine DER TRAKEHNER, Trakehner Breeding Director Lars Gehrmann describes the foals of PERPINGAN NOIR as follows:
Almost all the children from the first year of the champion stallion Perpignan Noir had the special type of embossing of the father recognized in terms of nobility and expression. This also applies to other features, such as the shapely, large-scale and somewhat narrow body, a lot of essay and uphill in the movement with shoulder room and a first-class gallop, the long legs with striking texture in not too large joints and the overall charisma that they spray through their appearance.

PERPIGNAN NOIR passed the HLP Sports Examination Dressage Part II, in Münster Handorf, with a final score of 7.69 and secured the final entry in the Stallion Book I. Trakehner For Life thanks Team Balkenhol and Rider Philipp Kloth for their support and the presentation of the stallion.

ESPERIA wins in Ranzenbach/NÖ

On the Trakehner Stud Gut Ranzenbach, owned by Manuela and Helmut Mayr, a dressage tournament CDN-A, CDN-B, as well as the final of the TRAKEHNR DRESSAGE CUP 2017 took place this weekend! In the dressage horse test class A DPA3 for 4 year old horses the Pr.St. ESPERIA won with a total score of 8,1 points! The judges awarded the step with 9 points! Trakehner For Life would like to take the opportunity to thank the family Mayer and the whole team for the good organization and hospitality, which offered a wonderful and very special presentation for the Trakehner horse and breed, with it`s TRAKEHNER DRESSAGE CUP!

SYRAH NOIR-awarded PREMIUM in Tann.

The lacquer black son of the PERPIGNAN NOIR from St.Pr. u. Pr.St. SCHÖNE WELT by EH King Arthur was awarded with the title Prämienfohlen at this years foal event at the stud farm of the family Meinen in Tann. The young stallion impressed the audience immediately with the “entrance jump” into the square with impressive manners, which he evidently has inherited from his grandmother St.Pr. u. Pr.St.SCHÖNE ZEIT. The winner of the VI. Bavarian Trakehner Landesschau was rated 9,5 in her mare performance test and was the best jumping mare. However, SYRAH NOIR particularly impressed the commission with his type and space-grabbing gallop, where each of which received 8.5 points. Trakehner For Life congratulates Anna Maria and Hartwig Meinen on this successful mating!

PERPIGNAN NOIR provides the CHAMPION in Hörstein.

Perpignan Noir, who was himself the champion of the traditional Hörsteiner Fohlenchampionat in 2013, was able to provide the best breeders of the colts with FELIPE NOIR. The cheered young stallion comes from Felisha from EH Cadeau and convinced with extraordinary type and movements. Like the father so the son … that makes great anticipation for Neumünster! STERNENZAUBERIN – awarded PREMIUM in Hörstein.

The charming daughter of PERPIGNAN NOIR out of Pr.St. STERNFEE from EH Cadeau was awarded with the title Prämienfohlen at this years foal event at Hörstein stud. The award winning filly reached the third place in the final ring of this years championship! The exquisite mother, Pr.St. Sternfee was winner mare of Hessen at age of 3 and comes from the famous stud Hörstein and is in the possession of Mrs. Susanne Trompke, who together with Karl Ochsner made the mating with Perpignan Noir deliberately and may now look forward to the award-winning foal. Trakehner For Life congratulates quite cordially and the proud owner Karl Ochsner will now ensure that this bead of breeding grows well and is promoted accordingly.

ESPERIA wins in Rainbach/AUT with her excellent overall score of 8,18 points

On the dressage tournament in Rainbach CDN-B* Pr.St. ESPERIA won the dressage class A, DPA3 (4J) with her excellent overall score of 8,18 points under her trainer and rider Heinz-Jörg Wächter. Already three weeks before, Esperia showed herself in a good shape at her first tournament appearance and immediately took 2nd place at the class A dressage competition in Steyr!

out of St.Pr. and Pr.St. Schöne Welt / EH King Arthur from the breeder’s house Meinen in Tann/Bavaria changes into the possession of Dominik Hartl. SYRAH NOIR looks very similar to his father and is characterized not only by type and powerful movements, but also by his interior. The promising young stallion will be moved to stallion rearing in autumn.

After positive completion of the 14 day suitability testing in Marbach, PERPIGNAN NOIR returned yesterday evening to Postmünster and moved into his stallion box. He is thus immediately available to breeders via the Bachl Station. We are looking forward to the 2015 Trakehner Champion Stallion’s second breeding season!

BACHL presents PERPIGNAN NOIR in a new Video.

The stallion stud farm, Bachl is presenting the Trakehner Champion Stallion at the beginning of the breeding season 2017 in a new video. PERPIGNON NOIR will move into his stallion box in Postmünster at the end of his 14 day suitability testing in Marbach on April 19^th and will be ready for breeding. As last year, he will be available to breeders via FS and DF!

The first Trakehner foal out of Perpignan Noir was born to the Breeding Stud Farm Stöckerhof in Kurenbach/Germany and looks just like her father! The little lady enchants with type and charisma as well as dancing movements and seems to Trakehner for Life to be a clear candidate for a top spot at the 1^st virtual foal championships! Her mother, Pr.St. Firegirl out of Montafon was 2^nd reserve champion stud in North Rhine Westfalia and is a pearl in the Vetser family’s stud, where they are looking forward to further offspring from the 2015 Champion Stallion. PERPIGNAN NOIR celebrates his debut in Münster-Handorf.

4-year-old PERPIGNAN NOIR, on the occasion of the 19^th Trakehner Stallion Show at the Westphalian Equine Centre, celebrated the absolute breeding progress of his distinguished genetics and race – the noble Trakehner sporting horse.

The grandson of the internationally successful Trakehner dressage star IMPERIO presented himself under his trainer, Ralf Kornprobst, as extremely powerful, full of confidence and with a strong gait. With a performance appropriate to his age, he delighted the expert public as well as the chief breeder, Lars Gehrmann, who commented especially on the extreme development with regard to frame and meaning and, at the same time made it clear that the stallion had not forfeited one bit of charisma, form and type distinction.

The 6-year-old Lebenstraum presented himself last weekend at the AWÖ Stallion’s day in Stadl Paura in clarified and imposing fashion and knew how to please the whole of the public during the show programme under Lea Siegl. Dr. Leopold Erasimus (AWÖ) praised the stallion in the highest terms during his commentary.

The licensed stallion LEBENSTRAUM (Abendtanz x Heops), has been acknowledged since 13.12.2016 for GERMAN SPORTING HORSE BREEDING.

The beautiful black horse presented himself in the Hall of the Olympic Equestrian Centre in Munich-Riem in top form and impressed the licensing commission with his special charisma and unique interior. He delighted not only the commission and the head of breeding, but also the spectators at the jumps through his manner and ability.

He will immediately allow his noble and high-performance Trakehner blood to flow into the GERMAN SPORTING HORSE BREEDING:

ESPERIA is 1^st reserve winner 2016

The prize mare Esperia competed at this year’s Trakehner stallion market in Neumünster for the title of the Trakehner Annual Champion Mare. After an excellent performance and self-presentation against quality competition, Esperia was awarded the title of “1^st reserve winner”. She presented herself as the mare with the strongest gait at the trot and was presented superbly by the Bescht Team. Due to the very good equestrian performance during the mare performance tests, Esperia was then presented to the expert public under the saddle at the gala night by Vanessa Siedentopf and was awarded as a special distinction the “East Prussian Coat of Arms”.

LEBENSTRAUM impressed at the Gala Night at the Trakehner Stallion Market in Neumünster.

The 5-year-old stallion presented himself in best form under the 3-fold Austrian Junior and Young Rider National Champion Lea Siegl, and mastered the Eventing Hall Course during the show programme in sovereign fashion and unimpressed by the loud music and thunderous applause in the sold-out Holsten Hall. He thus once again underlined his exceptional character and performance along with impeccable manners.

PERPIGNAN NOIR presents himself as highlight of the LSS show programme in the Murtal stud farm.

Ralf Kornprobst presented the 2015 Champion Stallion for the first time in public under saddle and mutated him with a confident, extremely impressive performance appropriate to his age into the stallion highlight of the show. Klaus Balkenhol commentated the stallion superbly and emphasised the path of the sensible and horse-equitable training this exceptional young horse has had. The emotional laudation from Erhard Schulte on the special lineage, with roots going back directly to the main Trakehner Stud Farm, as well as the description of the winning stallion and his performance in Neumünster made the public very aware of the perfect combination of tradition and modern! Bruno Six addressed specifically the stallion’s exceptionally good movement, documented the importance of a good gait, praised hindquarter motor skills during trotting and even adjudged the gallop with a 10!

LEBENSTRAUM opens the show programme of the Trakehner National Mare Show in Bayern/Austria.

LEBENSTRAUM opened the gala show of the Trakehner National Mare Show of the breeding region Bavaria/Austria at the Murtal breeding show with a brilliant display in best Trakehner fashion! Under the four-fold Austrian State Eventing Champion and Olympia rider Harald Siegel, LEBENSTRAUM showed impressively his outstanding qualities in jumping and his imposing expanding gait. He delighted the expert spectators in wonderful surroundings with an action-packed show and even commentator Bruno Six was unable to contain his enthusiasm, praised the stallion as the ideal example of a modern sporting horse and promised the young stallion a great career in the bush. Erhard Schulte documented the targeted genetic pairing and explained the unusual motivation of the jump-focussed stallion from the hippological point of view!

LEBENSTRAUM triumphs at the show jumping tests.

Trakehner-stallion Lebenstraum (Abendtanz v. Heops) won on 27.08.16 in Wendling in Austria under Lea Siegl the show jumping tests for 5 – 6 year-old horses (105 cm) with an extremely impressive 9.0 (no faults within the time limit). He thus left the competition, among them from Zangersheide and Holstein behind, and that as one of the youngest in the field.

Foal branding at Hartl Hof.

The start of this year’s foal registration and branding trip in Austria was made by the Bavarian delegation under the direction of Dr Schubert at the farm of the Härtl family, where two fillies from Dominic Hartl are being introduced.

Firstly, an extremely strongly typed “Allegra° out of Sir Sansibar from the Arleen out of Esteem OX (Type note 9.5), followed by the strong-moving “Superia” out of Connery from the Samara from Inster Graditz! Both mare foals presented received the title of premium foals!

LEBENSTRAUM triumphs at the Trakehner Federal Tournament.

The judges in Hanover scored 8.5 in the performance test Class A** for the licensed Lebenstraum with Raffaele Valente in the saddle – none of the competitors (28 participants) was able to better this.

Furthermore, Lebenstraum took 5th place in the show jumping test Level L, where he was again fault-free and only received one 0.4 point time fault.

LEBENSTRAUM finishes his first breeding season at the Tasdorf stud farm.

We would like to thank all the breeders whose mares were inseminated by Lebenstraum, as well as the Tasdorf stud farm for their professional care of the stallion.

ESPERIA wins at her Station-SJT.

The reigning Champion Mare of Bavaria/Austria completed her mare performance test from 18th June to 13th July at the Bescht breeding and training stud in Schlieckau. She also finished as the best tested mare with a total mark of 7.9.

ESPERIA is the champion mare of the Central Mare Registration of the breeding district of Bavaria/Austria.

The three-year-old Esperia von Schwarzgold out of Espritta von Schwadroneur, owned by Dominik Hartl and trained by Erik Jörgensen in Denmark, was even as a foal outstanding, achieving the highest rating of 60 points. The judges in Mainburg elected the noble, dark-brown mare as the Champion Mare of the 2016 Central Mare Registration, awarding her 57 points.

Breeding manager Lars Gehrmann: “Certainly the best-moving mare in all three basic gaits, correctly executing them in the process. The mare has a high measure of femininity as well as sportiness to offer!” Esperia also took part successfully in the free jumping events.

LEBENSTRAUM licensed.

In the process of a special licensing event, instructed by the board of directors, the stallion, which had been highly successfully performance tested in Adelheidsdorf was introduced and licensed in Tasdorf. His whole demeanour imparted an attitude of willingness to perform, highlighted by his sporty disposition, especially when jumping, as well as his exceptionally valuable pedigree.

LEBENSTRAUM very successfully performance-tested during the 50-day test in Adelheidsdorf.

With his jumping-accented pedigree (from Abendtanz-Heops), Lebenstraum confirmed his class against strong competition in the SPT with emphasis on jumping, achieving a total mark of 8.24, including the highest mark in the group (21 stallions) for psychological aspects (9.75), character/temperament (9.5) and willingness to perform (10.0).
